By setting up automatic app updates on your Android device, you can ensure that your apps are always up to date with the latest features and bug fixes, making it easier to stay prepared for bi-weekly app releases.

For iPhone (iOS): To enable automatic app updates on your iPhone, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Scroll down and tap on App Store.
  3. Toggle on the App Updates option under the Automatic Downloads section.
  4. Optional - turn on Cellular Data.

By enabling this setting, your iPhone will automatically download and install app updates as they become available in the App Store. This will ensure that you have the latest versions of your apps without needing to manually update them each time.

For Android Devices: To enable automatic app updates on your Android device, you can do the following:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
  2. Tap on the three horizontal lines in the top-left corner to open the menu.
  3. Select "Settings" from the menu.
  4. Under the "General" section, tap on "Auto-update apps."
  5. Choose the option that suits you best:
    • "Over any network": Updates will be downloaded whenever you're connected to the internet, regardless of the type of network.
    • "Over Wi-Fi only": Updates will only be downloaded when your device is connected to a Wi-Fi network.

By setting up automatic app updates on your Android device, you can ensure that your apps are always up to date with the latest features and bug fixes, making it easier to stay prepared for bi-weekly app releases.
