ExpertConnect has integrated into Shop.Deere.com, allowing customers to text their local dealership directly through Shop.Deere.com. This new feature enables customers to schedule service or seek assistance with their equipment easily. It aims to help dealerships generate better leads, improve triage times, access key machine information, and foster new business relationships with customers.
To enable this integration, follow the steps below:
- Open the Admin page.
- Select Integration on the left hand side of the page.
- Select Consent Based.
- Click Enable next to Owner Support
- Select the default team you would like tickets routed to.
This integration is connected through Dealer ID. If the integration is enabled and tickets aren't being generated in ExpertConnect, please contact ExpertConnect support.
At this time, only one team can be selected as the Default Team for this integration.

A. The "Text" feature is available on the Owner Support Pages, specifically in the Maintenance and Warranty & Coverage sections.
Q. Which pages and equipment are currently eligible?
A. Currently, the Owner Support Pages are accessible for all Riding Lawn Equipment, ZTrak™ Zero Turn Mowers, Utility Vehicles. We have plans to expand to additional equipment models from both the A&T and C&F divisions.
Q. What is the customer experience like when texting their dealer?
A. When a customer clicks "Text Us," a form will appear, asking them to provide key information. After submitting the form, they will wait to receive a response from their local dealership via text message. If the dealership has automated chat responses enabled in Expert-Connect, the customer will receive an automated response before hearing directly from a dealership employee.
Q. What is the dealer's experience when they receive a text?
A. A ticket will be automatically generated in ExpertConnect with the chose team for this integration. The advisors on that team will receive an ExpertConnect notification.
